Dataw Island is located six miles east of Beaufort and is surrounded by tidal waters and salt marshes. The island consists of 870 acres and 1,100 planned homesites which offer a variety of homes with golf, marsh, deepwater, lagoon and wooded views. Dataw Island also offers 36 holes of championship golf designed by Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills, lighted tennis courts, a state-of-the-art Community Center, a junior Olympic swimming pool and a full-service deep water marina with wet and dry slip storage.
